We not only concentrate in improving the students but also in bringing up their talents in extra curricular activities. Our school is an exceptional from the other school in conducting variety programs as a par of developing personality and innovative talents of students.
Magazines & Journals
Our school students of each class prepare a magazine year by year. As such about six magazines have been published in spite that we published a formal named ‘Reflections’ at an interval of three months under the supervision of Malayalam association.
Other Facilities
Our School management produced all kinds of facilities for the students. Management provides well-equipped labs for physics, Chemistry and computer. Apart of this sophisticated audio-visual lab is arranged to receive educational information through “Educate”. Our wide campus is situated in a calm and quite village for away from hurry and buzzil.
Night Classes
We are allowed Higher Secondary as self-financing course. So most of our students are those whose admission is rejected from aided, Govt. School it’s a tiresome job to pick up there below average students in high standard. From the First batch awards, we conduct night classes (5 To 9) for both boys and girls who are weak students in studies. During February and March, Boys are given the facilities to stay and study with teachers.
OUR ACTIVITIES
Our activities may be broadly grouped under the following heads:
1. BUILDING ELECTRONIC ARCHIVES:
Extra curricular activities in School, Using the Computer Software Package made available to us by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, on Computers available at their homes or at our school Training Center, our Volunteers create data files in Indian languages and English in respect of:
(a) Texts of ancient Indian religious, School extra curricular activities, philosophical and literary works from books, manuscripts and other sources, together with their translations and commentaries, with facilities for search and study.
(b) Presentations in respect of Art and Culture under heads like Music, Painting and Sculpture: A beginning has been made under Music with a presentation on the Melakarta Foundation of Carnatic Music, displaying the notation of the 72 Melakarta Ragas and illustrated by brief sound recordings on the Veena.
School extra curricular activities, The structure of this presentation is intended indeed as a model of a foundation on which the super-structure of a comprehensive public archive on composers and compositions of Carnatic Music can be constructed with the help of votaries, connoisseurs and practitioners of this system of music.
It would have facilities to navigate and locate any desired information and other sources of information and also listens to sound recordings. A beginning has also been made with presentations under the head Painting.
